The diving instructor Jennifer did a very good job. I am very pleased that it was she who trained me for the license. She is a true professional. Thanks

Overview
Catalina Island is recognized as one of the best snorkeling and scuba diving destinations in the Dominican Republic. SeaPro’s Catalina Island Diving Excursion is an exciting adventure tour that includes the option to scuba dive or snorkel. Our tour begins with a scenic drive to Bayahibe, where guests will board a comfortable catamaran and depart to Catalina. Our first stop, “The Wall”, is an impressive coral wall that extends out into the Caribbean. Our second dive site will be the “Aquarium”, an enjoyable dive where divers may encounter lobsters, yellow stingrays and moray eels. After diving, we will take a rest stop at the island where a delicious Dominican-style BBQ lunch awaits. Guests will have free time to relax and explore the Island until 3:00 pm before we return to Punta Cana.
- Pick up is in the morning at the designated meeting point given by SeaPro
- We will drive to Bayahibe where we board the catamaran towards Catalina
- Arrive at the first dive site “The Wall”. Divers will prepare the equipment with the divemaster
- After completing the first dive we will have a 30-minute surface interval to prepare for our second dive at ‘the Aquarium’ and to leave snorkelers on the beach.
- After completing the second dive, divers will arrive at Catalina Island, Dominican Republic
- A typical Dominican BBQ will be served
- Guests will enjoy free time at the island
- Departure from Catalina Island will be around 3.00 pm
The experience was both fun and professional. The boat crew clearly knew what they were doing, and enjoyed doing it. While I was there by myself, there were both small children and older adults on the excursion, and the crew were very courteous and appropriately helpful with both.
Professional team, both dives in Playa Blanca were great and we got to see many turtles, rays and tons of fishes. I will choose that same dive shop when I dive in Punta Cana again in the future.
