Tour overview

Deep sea fishing in Punta Cana, home to some of the largest sport fishing competitions in the Caribbean, is a must for any avid fishermen. The deep blue Atlantic Ocean is a striking contrast to the turquoise beaches of the Caribbean. It is that change of depth, coupled with the ebb and flow of the Mona passage between the Atlantic and the Caribbean, that provides a very rich habitat for big game fishing in the Dominican Republic. Blue marlin, white marlin, wahoo, sailfish, and dorado are all caught in these waters at various times of the year. The Deep Sea Fishing Excursion from Punta Cana is a half-day trip (from 8:00am to 12:00pm, approximately).

Please note: During the winter months the Atlantic Ocean can be very rough for participants that suffer from motion sickness or who do not have prior experience deep sea fishing. We encourage all participants to prepare by taking motion sickness medication 1 hour prior to participating in the excursion. If you do experience seasickness during the excursion your captain will give you the option to cut the trip short and return to shore earlier. Please note that if you do decide to cut the fishing trip short, you will not be provided with a refund.
